The TDN 5-2423WISM from Tracopower is a TDN 5WISM series, 5W DC/DC converter. It redefines the power density of high performance DC/DC converters and comes in a cubical package of only 1.23cm³ encloses a sophisticated circuit which provides 5W output power. Operate up to 50°C environment temperature at full load or up to 75°C with a 50% load derating. With 1600VDC I/O isolation voltage, external on/off and short current protection, it covers a wide range of application when space is limited. It features conducted noise (EN 55022 class A or B with external components), ESD (EN 61000-4-2, air ±8KV, contact ±6KV, pref A), radiated immunity (EN 61000-4-3, 10 V/m, pref A), fast transient / surge (with external input capacitor) (EN 61000-4-4, ±2KV, pref A and EN 61000-4-5, ±1KV pref A), conducted immunity (EN 61000-4-6, 10VRMS, pref A) and magnetic field immunity (EN 61000-4-8, 100A/m continuous, pref A, 1000 A/m 1sec, perf criteria A).

- ±15VDC output voltage, ±168mA maximum output current, 84% typical efficiency
- Input current no load is 30mA typical, maximum surge voltage (1 sec maximum) is 50V
- Reflected ripple current is 20mAp-p typical, ripple and noise (20MHz bandwidth) is 75mVp-p typical
- Ultra compact SMD package (13.2 x 9.1 x 10.2mm), >1Gohm isolation resistance (at 500VDC)
- Switching frequency is 100KHz minimum (PFM), 50pF maximum isolation capacitance
- Voltage set accuracy is ±1% maximum, temperature coefficient is ±0.02%/K typical, remote on/off
- Input of converters is designed for a wide voltage range (4:1) and minimum load is not required
- Non conducting plastic case, silicone (UL 94V-0) potting, non-conducting FR4 (UL 94V-0 rated) base
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +75°C without derating, package weight is 2.7g
