The compact and powerful marian DIGITAL AUDIO ELECTRONICS Clara D 16-Channel AES/EBU PCIe Sound Card lets you connect 16 AES/EBU audio channels in the smallest space possible�only one PCIe-slot width. With high-end converter chips supporting sample rates of up to 24-bit / 192 kHz resolution, an outstandingly accurate clock, and rugged construction, the Clara D reliably delivers state-of-the-art sound quality for demanding applications in professional studios and installations.
The card features switchable real-time sample-rate conversion (SRC) that makes it easy to connect almost any type of AES/EBU sound source, offering maximum flexibility for easy integration into complex digital sound systems. The onboard BEAST DSP mixer provides enough processing power to create a versatile latency-free mixing console with EQ for all input signals. If several Clara Dmaj cards are installed in a computer system and synchronized via the TDM SyncBus, the cards behave like a single device within the ASIO application.

- The BEAST Mixer is a 64-channel DSP mixer integrated into the card's hardware. It provides latency-free routing to any output. The BEAST mixer also sums up to 64 signals to 8 different buses and plays them back on any number of outputs. It also adds playback signals from any DAW�just like an analog mixer.
- All mix sums can be fed back to an application for recording. Each channel of the BEAST mixer offers 4 parametric EQs for sonic processing.
- If several Clara D cards are installed in a computer, they are synchronized via the TDM SyncBus and appear as a combined sound system to an ASIO application.
- In the BEAST Mixer, up to 64 audio signals can be exchanged with other Clara sound systems and integrated for use with ASIO.
