The QUAGLIARDI PRO AUDIO COLORBOX is a high-quality, stereo passive direct box (DI) designed to connect unbalanced, stereo instrument sources to the balanced inputs of a mixer or PA, ensuring optimal signal integrity and a professional audio experience. The DI box features custom QUAGLIARDI PRO AUDIO transformers with permalloy cores, delivering a smooth, warm sound that evokes the character of vintage analog gear. Featuring a simple and reliable passive design the COLORBOX requires no battery.
With switchable -20 dB input attenuators on each input channel, the COLORBOX accepts a wide range of input signals. A switchable Ground Lift separates the input and output grounds, eliminating ground loops between equipment. The DI box is housed in a lightweight yet durable aluminum enclosure, engineered to protect its switches and connectors, ensuring reliability on stage and in the studio.
