The Prompter People PAL12 Prompter Pal Teleprompter with Auto-Reversing Monitor, 12 x 12" Glass, and Camera Sled is a flexible teleprompter that mounts onto your tripod and includes a 12" diagonal 400 cd/m 2 reversing monitor. The prompter hood uses a 65/35 beamsplitter glass that is 12 x 12" in size. This provides your talent with a reading range up to 12' away.
The prompter folds flat for transport and storage, and it uses a metal frame to hold the glass as well as a black cloth hood to create good contrast and protect the beamsplitter from light contamination. The front of the hood features four 1/4"-20 threaded accessory mounting holes. An included camera support sled allows you to mount a variety of cameras to the prompter. The sled has 2.5" of vertical adjustment to center your camera in the prompter, and a spring-loaded locking lever allows you to slide your camera forward and back to balance the camera on your prompter.
Prompter hood and glass as well as the camera sled that supports your camera, mount onto your tripod. This allows you to pan and tilt your camera and have the prompter hood and glass move together. The 65/35 low-iron optical quality beamsplitter glass provides a bright overlay of text that can be read from up to 12' away, while remaining invisible to your camera. Supports most cameras including camcorders, DSLRs, and ENG types. Aluminum frame provides counterweight-free balance when used with any camera size. Can be easily folded for secure transport and storage. An optional Freestanding kit enables mounting the glass, hood, and monitor on a stand in front of the camera instead of mounting the camera to the prompter and then mounting the entire setup on a tripod. An optional 15mm kit enables you to mount the prompter onto a 15mm rod support system, which allows you to hand hold the prompter.
