Product Overview

F series is an OMEGAFILM® platinum RTD sensor manufactured using materials and processes similar to those employed in the manufacture of integrated circuits. This results in a rugged, reliable sensing element that can be produced in a wide range of sizes, resistances, and accuracies to meet even the most demanding of applications. The resistance vs. temperature relationship of OMEGAFILM RTD conform to the internationally accepted IEC60751 standard. As a result OMEGAFILM RTD element can be used worldwide with a multitude of controllers and instruments designed to function within these requirements.

  • Very low cost, flat, small profile
  • Resistance meets requirements of IEC60751
  • Temperature coefficient a = 0.00385 ohm/ohm/°C
  • Long-term stability�max R0 drift 0.4% after 1000 hours at 500°C (932°F)
  • Vibration resistance at least 40g acceleration at 10 to 2000Hz
  • Shock resistance at 100g acceleration with 8ms half sine wave
  • Self heating 0.4K/mW at 0°C
  • Response time water current (v = 0.4m/s) t0.5 = 0.2s, t0.9 = 0.4s; air stream
  • Size (W x L x H) is 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.8mm
  • 100 ohm nominal resistance
