IEEE 802.3bt-compliant, powered device with power telemetry and power/current limit. The device can detect the presence of a wall adapter power and allow a smooth switch-over from the PoE power source to the wall adapter. The device also provide a power-good (PG) signal, two-step current limit and foldback control, overtemperature protection. It is suitable for use in IEEE 802.3bt powered devices, VOIP phones, IP security cameras, wireless access point, small cell, Pico cell, lighting, building automation applications.
