The Evno CLX-TA4 with TA4 Cable is a handcrafted, dual-element microphone system designed specifically for clarinet and oboe. This configuration includes a TA4 cable for Shure and other compatible wireless transmitters. Built in the USA, the CLX provides a naturally balanced and uncolored representation of the instrument?s tone, capturing all the nuances with exceptional clarity and high gain before feedback. Whether you?re playing in an orchestral section, solo recital, jazz combo, or marching band, the CLX ensures your sound is heard just as you play it?without coloration or compromise.

The system features a 70% upper to 30% lower blend between the upper and lower capsules, prioritizing the tonal content above the bell while preserving the full body of the instrument. This predetermined mix creates a lifelike and articulate sound that performs consistently in both low- and high-volume applications.

Dual-Mic Design with Integrated Mounting
The CLX uses an anodized aluminum clamp to hold the upper and lower mic elements at ideal pickup points?one above the upper keys, and one in front of the bell. The clamp attaches easily using a screw-tightening mechanism, allowing for fast and repeatable setup. The 5.5" and a 4" USA-designed Flex-stay goosenecks provide stable, adjustable mic positioning while accommodating key and hand movement. When placed correctly, the system allows for use with an instrument stand and works seamlessly across a variety of clarinet and oboe types.

This version of the CLX ships with a TA3 to TA4 cable for Shure wireless bodypack transmitters. The modular design allows players to move between traditional wired setups (with the separately available PS95 power supply / preamp) and flexible wireless configurations with minimal effort.
