Darkglass Electronics Exponent 500W Hybrid Bass Amplifier Head with MIDI Footswitch Bundle

Combining solid-state and modeling, this amp head offers a plethora of tones and functionality, while the control pedal offers five footswitches and five banks, making it useful for controlling your amp head or any MIDI device.
Offering 500W of clean analog amplification and the benefits of modern digital processing, the Exponent 500 from Darkglass Electronics is a hybrid solid-state / modeling bass amp head. Loaded with assignable FX, preamps, and cabs, plus comprehensive 4-band EQ, Exponent 500 has everything a modern bassist needs for killer tone.
Exponent 500 provides five programmable presets and five assignable quick pots, which can be controlled via the Darkglass Suite app for iOS and Android devices. With Darkglass Suite you can also modify your FX processing chains and more. Bluetooth streaming lets you send wireless audio directly to your headphone output for practice. Exponent 500 sports a series FX loop, an XLR direct output for PAs and interfaces, a 1/4" speakON combo jack for speakers, a MIDI input for MIDI devices, and a USB-C port for 4-channel audio interface duties.
While the USB connection can also receive MIDI information, the Exponent 500 also sports a dedicated 5-pin DIN MIDI connector. Via both options, you can receive PC and CC messages with selectable per-value or full-range CC controls.
Note: Exponent 500 requires Darkglass Suite version 4.3.0 or later.
Control your rig from one flexible nerve center with the MIDI Footswitch from Darkglass Electronics, a footswitch controller with five footswitches for presets and five banks from which to choose. Capable of being powered by a 9V power adapter (sold separately), USB-C, 7-pin DIN MIDI, and 1/4" via Darkglass amps, the MIDI Footswitch can slip seamlessly into numerous setups.
Each footswitch button sports an RGB LED indicator. With the Darkglass Suite and a USB connection, you can easily send USB MIDI and customize your presets and MIDI configurations to support a wide range of Darkglass or generic MIDI devices. The Darkglass Suite can also be used to customize MIDI CC and PC messages. With a 1/4" cable and compatible Darkglass amp, the MIDI Footswitch can be used as a Super Intelligent Footswitch.
Optionally, you can use this pedal as a Super Intelligent Footswitch with compatible Darkglass amps, in which case the pedal can be powered entirely by it's 1/4" TS connection with the amp. Finally, when used with certain Darkglass amps like the e500, you can power this pedal via a 7-pin DIN MIDI cable connection. When used as a Super Intelligent Footswitch (1/4" TS), with USB-C, or connected via 7-pin MIDI, no external power supply is needed.
